Dar Vedra is an 18th century riyad, entirely restored in 2005 with ancestral methods and in the respect of Arabic Andalusia architecture; it will fulfil all your expectations as far as comfort is concern.
Located in the Medina of Marrakech, the house offers seven air conditioned bedrooms, around two bosky patios, one with a small heated pool, a living room with fire place, satellite TV, stereo CD player and a dining room.
The interior fully presents the spirit of the Moroccan traditions. In a harmony of clear colours, bejmat and tadelakt, contrast with the dark woodworks.
The 220 square meters terrace has a 360°view on Bab Doukkala mosque, the Koutoubia and the Atlas Mountains. It features: a dining area with barbecue and a solarium with long chairs and shower.

Rachida our cook is here to prepare you: tagines, briouates, couscous and all that has Moroccan cuisine rich in savour.
Because of the house's traditional architecture Dar Vedra is possibly dangerous for young children, besides, the pool has no attendant. Children are welcome on the simple understanding that parents accept full responsibility for their safety.

| The assistance we received on sites to see and general tips on Marrakech was excellent. The management couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely would recommend asking for an airport pick-up as the location probably would not have been well known to ordinary taxi drivers (150 Dirhams payable to the Dar Vedra). | ||

| We had a wonderful stay. The riad is beautifully furnished and the service is very comforting. Special compliments to the cooks; their meals were better than we had at restaurants! We loved to sit at the top terras at night with some wine to enjoy our evening. Also, we enjoyed our quick dip in the 'pool' in the afternoon to cool off. The service was also very protective and helpful as mother and daughter were travelling alone; they were very thoughtful and creative in their suggestions for activities. I would certainly recommend this riad to anyone who's looking for a relaxing time at Marrakech. | ||

| A truly beautiful riad that had been beautifully restored. Lovely bedroom with fabulous enormous bath! Loved having the room lead out to the pool. Although the pool is small it is perfect for cooling off in after a hot day. The owner was fantastic and extremely helpful - great that he spoke English so communication was not an issue. Also fab that he met us at our car when we got close to riad and phoned him. He showed us the wAy and helped us with our luggage. Would thoroughly recommend this riad to anyone. | ||

| We loved Dar Vedra - the approach down a narrow alley in need of repair is not very good but once you open the door you are in a different world - beautifully restored and furnished, tranquil, peaceful and welcoming especially after the hubbub of the city. We would recommend anyone considering Dar Vedra to overcome the first impression of the alley and be rewarded with a fantastic experience. | ||

| From the moment we arrived at Dar Vedra we were immersed in the best Marrakech has to offer. We experienced wonderful friendly and very attentive service. I cannot thank Sebastien and Didier enough and all of their staff, especially Mohammed who rescued us one night when we were stranded!. Our stay was truly memorable and we will definitely be back to enjoy the hospitality again. We have recommended them to many friends and hope they have continued success and enjoy many bookings, though not too many...we want to be able to go back again!! | ||

| Dar Vedra was a wonderful Riad! My husband and I had a lovely stay there, the hotel was a beautiful and calm oasis away from the hectic streets of Marrakesh. I was sick during my stay and the staff was so kind and helpful. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, if you are planning a visit to Marrakesh. | ||
