Dar Lalla F' Dila is a douiriya (dependence) - house of reception of vizier Mnebhi, War Minister of sultan Moulay-Abd el Aziz at the end of the XIXth century- of Dar Mnebhi who accommodates the museum of Marrakesh today.
This dar with rare architectural characteristics is a real small jewel in the historical heart of the medina. Its owners wanted to rehabilitate it in a modern way while preserving its charm and authenticity.
With a little imagination, you will love the quite particular atmosphere of a house which accommodated Josephine Baker during World War II.

| I was very Happy with the raid but not with your service. According to them you had us booked for only one night when we actually booked for two. They double booked the room and we had to move to a smaller raid with fewer services. The management of Dar f'Dilla was good and helped us with the move but it was not the thing I wanted to do on New Years Eve. | ||

| Beautiful Riad, fantastic staff, and a gorgeous room. The riad was a little paradise. Only comment would be to make sure you get guided to and from the square on your first visit, it's extremely easy to get lost. | ||

| Amazing amazing amazing riad, a must stay for anyone looking for a luxurious yet affordable place to stay 5 minutes away from the square. The room was so incredibly designed and whilst some may complain of the absence of a TV or AC, I loved this and it only added to the road experience for me. The kind French owner is lovely, welcoming and speaks and English fluently. He kindly found us, lost, a few roads away from the road being hassled by a fake guide and immediately stepped in, whisking us away and offering the guide some dirhams. Perfect! | ||

| We had an excellent experience here. The room was gorgeous as was the entire house. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend getting the airport pickup service, though, because otherwise the riad is very difficult to find. If you've never been to the Marrakesh medina before, I would say that it is nearly impossible to find on your own. | ||

| The riad was good, lovely breakfast on the roof, nice welcome. I must admit that the pictures on the site are a bit nicer than in reality. Two suggestions: put up racks to hang your towels and a possibility to hang up the shower. | ||

| Nice atmosphere, helpfull staff and a great point or rest in a hectic city. We enjoyed our stay and I would surely recommend anybody to have a stay in this Riad. | ||

| This is a lovely riad - not too difficult to find your way home and situated in a nice part of Marrakech. Our room was lovely, food was great (and very plentiful) and the service was warm and friendly. Thank you. | ||

| Exceptional in every way - attractive decor, very good food, convenient location, the manager Aziz was helpful and responsive to all requests. Quiet, tranquil oasis in Marrakech and I would LOVE to visit again! | ||

| The two woman working at the ryad and serving breakfast were very friendly and helpfull. Finding your way around the first day is hard; every other guest we spoke got lost the first day. I noticed other Ryads have better solutions for that (better maps or pick-up service if you get lost). Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Good value for money. Some more variation in breakfast would be pleasant if you stay for a week. | ||

| Aziz was great and really helpful - do congratulate him! The Riad was really nice with good amentities. The location (down the dark alley) was a challenge and a little menacing, but your are near to Riad Farnatchi which is one of the best. The only reason I would go elsewhere is to try a different location south of the square and souks. Marrakech is as fascinating as ever. | ||

| It is good location for seeing the Merdersa and Museum. Longer walk to the main square and other sites. Guardian was very helpful and if needed would come get you if you got lost. Down side we ran out of hot water for showers in the morning. | ||

| Riad Dar Lalla F Dila was beautiful and charming. Unfortunately, we had great difficulty finding it (more so than other riads we visited). Also, we had some difficulty communicating with staff as we speak only English and the staff that were present spoke only French. Despite these details, we really enjoyed out stay and would return. | ||

| One of the staff (Azis) was very helpful, although he spoke no English. He helped us out with getting to cooking classes, etc and other general items. Whilst the manager spoke both English and French, he was not at the Riad that often, although we were able to contact by phone if necessary. | ||

| The people in the riad were lovely. They came to meet us when we got lost, arranged flower petals and chilled our champagne for my mother's birthday. We communicated in sign language and had no problems. | ||
