After an international hotel experience : Middle East, USA, South Africa and Europe, Michel came to Fez in the year 2000. His passion for the city, made him buy a Ryad, which he restored during 5 years. Following efforts, patience and investment, Michel finishes, the Ryad Salama.
This Ryad was built at the beginning of the last century by Mohammed Chergui, aristocrat of that period. This Ryad is fairly unique because every room and suite overlooks the garden, either by private balcony or simply at garden’s level.
Due to its location, in between the two mains street of the Médina, the Ryad Salama is really a small enchanting oasis, and it is also accessible by car via the parking « Ain Azliten ».
Michel, professional in the hotel industry, is offering the best comfort by anticipating his guest’s needs and expectations and he turned the Ryad Salama into a charming guest house, where service and welcome overwhelm the attention to details. This ryad was restored in the traditional way, using craft men from the Medina, and Michel has tastefully arranged all the rooms in order to make the Ryad Salama, a peaceful place for the tranquillity lovers.
The Ryad Salama offers 6 rooms (all luxury furnished), 1 suite, and a swimming pool. The ecology has been part of our day to day leaving, the Ryad Salama uses solar panels to heat water, and saves energy by using led bulbs.
