This luxurious family dwelling, renovated in the purest Moroccan tradition by Christophe Siméon, a Belgian architect settled in Morocco for several years, opens its gates to visitors 1 year ago.
A few steps from Jemâa El Fna square, near the Medersa Ben Youssef, a little secret “derb” leads you to this magical place, absolute haven of peace, with an incomparable refinement.
The house offers two bedrooms and four suites with a sophisticated interior design, each one with its luxurious bathroom, where tadelakt, marble and zelliges blend with elegance.
Draperies, tissues, paintings, objects, everything has been bargain-hunted with passion by Camille, the owner, in order to create this exceptional atmosphere.
Two big lounges with a fireplace welcome you for comfortable evenings and, if you wish to isolate, read, or dream, you will be able to shelter, according to your envy, in the patio’s “b’hou” (small opened lounge), on the first floor gallery’s seat, or in the numerous corners of the panoramic terrace.
The patio, planted with orange trees, true “heart” of the house, changes atmosphere following the rhythm of seasons: a splash pool welcomes you during the warmest hours of the summer, and changes, during autumn, into an elegant and comfortable alcove where you will be able to curl up in the middle of carpets and soft pillows and taste a delicious mint tea.
A large lounge with a fireplace, a room and a suite open up to the patio on the ground floor.
Upstairs, another room and a large suite open up to a vast gallery giving onto the patio and a welcoming winter lounge with a fireplace will allow you to isolate.
In the new part of the house which has been just extended, two wonderful and luminous suites, and, under the glass roof of the patio, a large dining room with a fireplace will invite you to savour the tasty Moroccan cuisine of Nizha.
In the top of the house, a large terrace planted with trees with a wonderful view on the Atlas and the medina : two splash pools, two solariums where everyone can enjoy sun in the strictest privacy and several dining areas for breakfast or a candlelit dinner.
A new relaxation area located apart of the house’s ground floor offers you a hammam for 2 people and a massage room (only by appointment).
All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning (except room 2 on the ground floor), bathroom with separated toilets, individual heating and safe. Internet connection and Wi-Fi.

| I stayed at Riad Camilia for 3 nights and was extremely pleased by the thoroughly professional and courteous service of Nicolas and team. They were always present without being intrusive and made me feel right at home, a rare feeling while overseas. The rooms in the Riad were lovely (I stayed in Room 6 but could not help but peek into the other unoccupied rooms) - comfortable but not too ornate - and my room even had DVDs and books for use which was a nice touch. The courtyard and rooftop were beautiful and extremely tranquil, seemingly cut off from the hustle and bustle outside. The rooftop in particular was a great place to snuggle with a book and pot of freshly-brewed mint tea. While the Riad is a slight distance from the main square (about a 10-15 minute walk), it is only a 5 minute walk before you hit the shops and the walk to the square from there is easily manageable. All in all, I would definitely recommend Riad Camilia to any travellers to Marrakech. | ||

| Everything at Riad Camilia is tasteful, elegant and calm - and also has a very friendly welcoming feel. Nicolas and his team couldn't be more helpful, the food was excellent, bedroom and bathroom facilities perfect for us. We especially appreciated the personal help Nicolas gave us with excursions, booking taxis, ideas for places to visit, and restaurants to try. Great! | ||

| This was the most wonderful 4 days ever!!!. My daughter and i had the most sensational time. This Riad is stunning and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in a boutique style hotel with lovely staff who make you feel so welcome. The food was amazing, the rooms stunning and the care in which the owner and manager go to, to look after each guest is wonderful. We were given helpful advice when we needed it but also plenty of space to relax and do 'nothing' if that was your desire.Thankyou to Camilia and Nichola for making this the highlight of my 5 week trip!!! | ||

| I thought it was beautiful accommodation, we were so happy with it. The cook prepared a meal on the rooftop which was amazing (best meal in Morocco). I did not like Morocco that much as a country but the riad was probably up there with one of the best places I have stayed. The atmosphere of the place is lovely. | ||
