Nestled in a picturesque street in the Marrakech Medina, the Riad Laora awaits you. Eastern charm, mysterious beauty and traditional authenticity is the theme of this guesthouse that is ideally located, only a six minute walk, from the famous Jemaa El Fnaa square.

Discover the splendor and the peaceful atmosphere of the historical moment that is the Riad Laora. The craftsmanship of the beautiful renovation and skilled preservation of this residence are impressive. A magnificent fountain is situated in the middle of the central patio and the gentle sound of the water running into the bathing pool is soothing and sets the tone for this serene and relaxing haven.

Seven guest rooms and suites are individually decorated and doted with private bathrooms constructed with traditional Moroccan tadlakt.

A rooftop terrace is at your disposition to sunbathe, relax, or enjoy your meals. At night, the terrace is softly illumed by hundreds of candles, allowing you to appreciate the Moroccan star filled sky. During the day, a traditional Moroccan tent provides a shaded area for your comfort.

The living room boasts a magnificent fireplace constructed in traditional tadlakt and is decorated in velvet and taffeta fabrics and an impressive collection of art objects.

Guests are invited to take mint teas and enjoy the open air Moroccan summer salon opening onto the central patio.

Gourmet dishes are proposed to guests and can be enjoyed either on the central patio, in one of the Moroccan salons or on the rooftop terrace. While the kitchen is reserved for staff only, Moroccan cooking classes are available for 45 euros / person.

The property is accessible by car, a luxury in the Marrakesh medina.

For a minimum 5-nights booking between Nov.9th and Dec.21st, Riad Laora offer you a "candelight dinner".

Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of a reservation cancellation, the Riad Laora will apply the following cancellation policy and will charge any applicable fees to the client credit card used during the reservation process:
*Cancellations received 21-30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of total projected room costs.
*Cancellations received 11-20 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room costs.
*Cancellations received 0-10 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total projected room costs.
*Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card supplied during the reservation process.

Private Rentals of the Riad Laora are subject to the following reservation and cancellation policy :
*In additional to the guarantee deposit of 15% paid upon confirmation, the Riad Laora will charge an additional 15% of the remaining amount due to the credit card used upon confirmation.
*The remaining balance due must be paid 30 days before the confirmed arrival date at the property.
*Cancellations received 60 days or more before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of total projected room charges.
*Cancellations received 45 - 60 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room charges.
*Cancellations received 45 - 0 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of total projected room charges.
