Dar Vedra is an 18th century riyad, entirely restored in 2005 with ancestral methods and in the respect of Arabic Andalusia architecture; it will fulfil all your expectations as far as comfort is concern. Located in the Medina of Marrakech, the house offers six air conditioned bedrooms, around two bosky patios, one with a small heated pool, a living room with fire place, satellite TV, stereo CD player and a dining room. The interior fully presents the spirit of the Moroccan traditions. In a harmony of clear colours, bejmat and tadelakt, contrast with the dark woodworks. The 220 square meters terrace has a 360°view on Bab Doukkala mosque, the Koutoubia and the Atlas Mountains. It features: a dining area with barbecue and a solarium with long chairs and shower.

Rachida our cook is here to prepare you: tagines, briouates, couscous and all that has Moroccan cuisine rich in savour.

Because of the house's traditional architecture Dar Vedra is possibly dangerous for young children, besides, the pool has no attendant. Children are welcome on the simple understanding that parents accept full responsibility for their safety.

Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of a reservation cancellation, the Dar Vedra will apply the following cancellation policy and will charge any applicable fees to the client credit card used during the reservation process :
-Cancellations received 21-30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of total projected room costs.
-Cancellations received 11-20 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room costs.
-Cancellations received 0-10 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total projected room costs.

Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card supplied during the reservation process.
