Tourism taxes (generally not included in the room rate).
Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

Located opposite the Moroccan capital Rabat and at the edge of the ocean, our Riad is a traditional house: patio, zelliges Beldi, hammam, flowery terrace with ocean view.
Five rooms are at your disposal, each one decorated in a style evoking an area of the country (RABAT, FES, MARRAKECH, KHENIFRA, ESSAOUIRA).
All are equipped with air-conditioning, bathroom, satellite television, Internet connection (WIFI) and a private living room.
As regards the rest: discovery of the area, craft industry, visits to of the towns of SALE and RABAT, pleasant beaches, restaurants, and also car hire, golf, jet sking, surfing, tennis, we will be able to guide you.
The "Riad à la belle étoile" is situated on a bank of the river Bouregreg face a the ancient city of Rabat and at the edge of the medina of Sale with a magnificent view of the ocean, the district Oudayas (visit with his peremptory Moorish cafe overlooking the ocean). Numerous visits can be made from Riyadh, the mausolétoilee Mohamed V and tower Hassan II, the medina of Salé with its souks, Medrassa (former Koranic school), the medina of Rabat, rich thousand craft shops, strolling the Bouregreg and much more to discover ...

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a reservation cancellation, the Riad à la belle etoile will apply the following cancellation policy and will charge any applicable fees to the client credit card used during the reservation process :
-Cancellations received 21-30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of total projected room costs.
-Cancellations received 11-20 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room costs.
-Cancellations received 0-10 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total projected room costs.
Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card supplied during the reservation process.
