Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

In the heart of the Marrakech Medina, Eric and Olivier invite you to enjoy the treasures their riad has to offer. All the Moroccan craftworks are represented : zouaks, zelliges, sculpted plaster, tadelakt... assuring an authentic and unforgettable experience.
Upon your arrival, Mohamed (Momo) offers you a perfumed mint tea and the magic begins.
The water basin (splash pool) and the gentle music of the fountain invite you to relax and to refresh yourself during the warmer hours.
The junior suites are located on the second floor and are equipped with private bathrooms.
Eric and Olivier have even gone so far as to name the guest quarters with synonyms of the word "peace". But which to choose ? The Salam Suite(peace) and Raha Suite (relax) are situated on the ground floor and benefit from a patio access.
The Safa Suite (serenity) and Hana Suite(well being) are tempting because of their morning sunlight, and the Kaskina Suite (tranquility) may seduce you with it's fireplace.
The Halaoua (softness) is ideally situated on the terrace. Unlike the other rooms, this suite is decorated in a more contemporary and African style. The suite has one double bedroom and separate salon area and will make you believe you are living a scene from 1001 Arabian Nights.
Roundtrip airport transfers are complimentary for reservations of 7 nights or longer in a Junior Suite or Suite.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a reservation cancellation, the Riad la Terrasse des Oliviers will apply the following cancellation policy and will charge any applicable fees to the client credit card used during the reservation process :
- Cancellation before 31 days : 20€ fee
- Cancellations received 21-30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of total projected room costs.
- Cancellations received 11-20 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room costs.
- Cancellations received 0-10 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total projected room costs.
High season period (2008 December 20th to 2009 January 4th)
- Cancellations received 61 days or more before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of total projected room costs.
- Cancellations received 60-31 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room costs.
- Cancellations received 30-15 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 75% of total projected room costs.
- Cancellations received 0-14 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total projected room costs.
Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card supplied during the reservation process.
