The Riad l'Orangeraie is nestled in the Mouassine district of the old Medina, and only a 5 minute stroll from the vibrant Djemaa El Fna square. The words "prime location" and l'Orangeraie are inseparable. But it's not just a pretty face in the right place.

The interior of this harmonious townhouse wraps itself gracefully around two expansive patios. One decorated with fountains and aromatic flowers, the other with a mosaic tiled swimming pool and steamy hammam. And, literally topping it off, a dazzling rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains.

The seven spicy bedrooms, warm and colourful like their name, open onto two patios… The garden patio is where you can enjoy the flowers and aromatic plants while the birds sing and the fountain trickles in the background. The pool patio is an invitation to the art of relaxation, beside the sky blue mosaic pool or in the vapours of the steam room.

In addition to a heated pool, the property provides you with access to a traditional "hammam" and the possibility of a massage delivered by a professional masseur (upon request). The pool is located in the patio area away from other areas of the Riad which allows you to enjoy the water whilst ensuring other guests are able to enjoy continued solitude.

We can organise a dinner, banquet or cocktail evening beside the pool, on the roof top terrace or in the living room with entertainment ranging from belly dancing to performances by traditional "gnaoua" musicians.

Dine at midday or in the evening beside the pool or enjoy the view from the roof top terrace. In winter you can soak up the warmth of an open fire in the living room. The chef is available at all times to meet your culinary needs, the only task required of you each day is to chose your preferred authentic Moroccan cuisine in the morning for midday or in the afternoon for the evening.

Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

Cancellation Policy :
Cancellations received > 30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of total projected room costs.

Cancellations received 21-30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room costs.

Cancellations received < 30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total projected room costs.

Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card supplied during the reservation process.
