Marrakech Restaurant Guide
There are few cuisines as refined as Moroccan cuisine. The colorful presentation of well prepared national delicacies makes dining a pleasure for gourmands! Marrakech has a large selection of restaurants, cafes and lounges. Moroccans generally spend a lot of time at the table preferring not to rush their meals but to take their time and appreciate the dishes.

hotel restaurants... top of page city guide

Hotel restaurants in Marrakesh are typically fancier than the restaurants or cafés with terraces overlooking the plaza, and often offer full and traditional menus.

Hotel Ali is quite popular with tourists and although it is not directly on the main plaza you will have no trouble watching the action from their terrace where lunch is served. They offer an “all you care to eat” dinner that includes Moroccan vegetables, salads, and fruits. The buffet is served inside the restaurant on the ground floor (around 65DH, with a reduction for hotel guests).

Hotel de Foucauld has menus around 100 DH (10€)

Grand Hotel du Tazi proposes a buffet with sumptuous salads starting at 90 DH (9€)

L’Hotel Islane has a terrace where diners have a view of the Koutoubia. The hotel serves traditional Moroccan and Italian cuisine.
