	Fez has celebrations going on somewhere in the city almost any given day. Being a very traditional city in terms of customs and traditions, the majority of these celebrations are religious.

The biggest festival in Fez is definately the Sacred World Music Festival which is held yearly in June or July (the dates change). Concerts are held throughout the city with the larger ones at Volubilis, Dar Batha museum and at the police headquarters. For more information go to www.fezfestival.org

Moussem of Moulay Idriss II is held yearly in September. This holiday is to honor the patron saint of Fez and is celebrated with a large parade that winds through the medina and finishes at the saints’ centrally located tomb.
